ConferenceOne Conference in two cities! Austria and Slovenia have joint forces to present you a three-day event on the current state and future of Architectural Policies and Baukultur in the European Union.
The international conference will take place in Graz and Maribor from 6th to 8th October 2021

Participation in the conference and all program items is free of charge.
A registration for the individual parts of the conference is required. Registration is open until 4th of October.

In Graz, the focus of the conference is to present the results of the OMC Working Group on high-quality Architecture and Built Environment for everyone. On behalf of the European Commission, this Working Group has drawn up recommendations for European policies on different levels of action.
Within the framework of the conference, these activities also are connected with the initiative of the New European Bauhaus.

The Austrian part of the conference is organized by the Austrian Architectural Foundation on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Arts, Culture, the Civil Service and Sport in collaboration with the Province of Styria, with the involvement of the Chamber of Architects and Consultants Engineers, Haus der Architektur, LandLuft, Plattform Baukulturpolitik.
FIELD TRIPS BETWEEN GRAZ AND MARIBOR
7 October 2021
On October 7th, a trip from Graz to Maribor provides the opportunity to visit selected buildings and the opportunity to network. Three bus tours, each dealing with another topic (Housing | Health | Eduction), are offered, all accompanied by Landluft as well as by the Baukultur team of the Province of Styria. This trip also serves as a transfer between Graz and Maribor.

The tours start in Graz at 9 am, after a joint lunch at the House Denk the trip continues to Maribor where the second part of the conference will start in the afternoon.
